Business calling

Every call tracked. Every missed call recovered

Business numbers your customers can call, salespeople who can call from desktop or mobile, and a record of every conversation on the CRM — including the calls that were missed, which Louma follows up automatically.

Why it matters

The phone is still where deals happen — and where data disappears

Calls on personal mobiles leave nothing behind: no record, no recording, no attribution, no way to know whether the lead was ever called back.

Louma puts business calling inside the platform so the call is part of the customer's history and part of the team's numbers.

Missed calls, missed customers Nobody knows how many enquiries rang out during lunch.

No record of what was said Handovers rely on memory; disputes rely on who remembers better.

Calls from personal numbers Customers call reps directly — forever, even after they leave.

Untracked call-driven leads Ad campaigns that generate phone calls show zero conversions.

How Louma handles it

Calling built into the CRM, not beside it

Louma provisions business numbers, routes calls to the right people and logs everything on the record.

Business numbers

Local or toll-free numbers per team, location or campaign, provisioned in Louma. Port existing numbers where supported, or forward calls from them.

Inbound routing and forwarding

Ring groups, round-robin, business hours and forwarding to mobiles. Calls reach a person; the record shows who.

Click-to-call, desktop and mobile

Salespeople call from the contact record or the mobile app, from the business number, with the call logged automatically.

Call tracking and attribution

Campaign-specific numbers show which ads and sources generate calls, and which calls generate customers.

Recording where permitted

Optional call recording with playback on the contact record, subject to consent requirements in your jurisdiction.

Missed-call workflows

A missed call triggers an instant text-back, a task for the owner, and a follow-up if the customer doesn't reply.

Connected to the rest of Louma

Calls are one channel in the unified inbox, logged on the CRM record, attributed to the salesperson in team dashboards, and able to trigger automation such as missed-call text-back.

In practice

A missed call that isn't lost

  1. A prospect calls from your Google Ads number at 12:40. Everyone is at lunch.
  2. Louma sends a text within seconds: "Sorry we missed you — reply here or book a call."
  3. A task is created for the salesperson on duty. The lead is attributed to the campaign.
  4. The prospect replies by SMS. The salesperson calls back at 13:10 from the app — logged and recorded.
  5. Reporting shows the campaign produced the call, the call produced the appointment.

Common questions

Can I keep my existing phone number?

In many regions, yes. Numbers can be ported into Louma or calls can be forwarded from your existing number so every call is tracked. Availability depends on country and carrier; we confirm during scoping.

Are calls recorded?

Optionally. Recording can be enabled where legally permitted and with appropriate consent. Recordings are stored on the contact record for review and coaching.

Can salespeople call from their mobiles?

Yes. The mobile app places calls from the business number, so customers see the company number and the call is logged in Louma.

What does calling cost?

$50 per 1,000 minutes, plus per-number fees and any carrier or international charges where applicable.

Can I track which ads generate phone calls?

Yes. Campaign-specific tracking numbers attribute calls to their source, and the resulting leads and deals appear in attribution reporting.
